SED believes that nature-based recreation activities work in concert with conservation values, not against them. When approaching a recreation plan, SED employs an approach wherein the users' experiences and their impact on the landscape is addressed. We build comprehensive solutions to solve site conflicts through the integration of interpretation and education, site rehabilitation, mitigation of user conflicts, and carrying capacity of the resource area as a means to support multiple recreation activities within a comprehensive conservation-based recreation experience.

SED also addresses the creation of site-appropriate facilities to support accessibility and multiple types of user experiences.
